Transformation Station Broadcasts is a series of meetings with directors of cultural institutions. It aims at presenting various programme and strategic activities of the most important urban, state and non-governmental organizations.
The institutions chosen has a wide experience in organizing cultural life and engaging in social, economic and environmental processes, as well as in introducing innovative methods in institutional actions. Invited guests are specialists with a deep theoretical knowledge used successfully in practical solutions, especially regarding economic potential of culture, building relations with receiver, social and urban policies. Meetings will help explain the picture of Polish cultural communities situation, social-economic problems and institutional ways to solve them. They will also enable to compare and look for new methods in strategies of sustainable development of urban spaces, especially beneficial for Młode Miasto neighbourhood. The meetings’ goal is also to build a reciprocal network of contacts enabling knowledge and experience sharing in the field of cooperation with local communities and governments. Another goal is to widen the range and effectiveness of cultural projects implemented in urban processes.
